Can I change plans after signing up?
Yes. You can upgrade from Starter to Pro at any time. Upgrades are pro-rated. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing cycle.
What happens if I hit my transcription limit?
You will be notified as you approach your limit. Once reached, transcription submissions pause until the next cycle unless you upgrade.
What happens if I hit my formatting limit?
Formatting submissions pause when monthly word limits are reached. Existing content stays accessible. Upgrade when you need more volume.
Are admin accounts counted as users?
No. Admin and user seats are separate counts. Starter includes 1 user + 1 admin.
Can I add more users or admins beyond plan limits?
Additional seats are available on Enterprise. For Starter/Pro, upgrade or request custom enterprise pricing.
Is my data isolated from other organizations?
Yes. Penguin Scribe is multi-tenant with strict data isolation for recordings, transcriptions, users, and settings.
Do you offer discounts for non-profits or educational institutions?

What payment methods are accepted?
Accepted payment methods are configured per deployment. Typical options include major cards and bank transfer for annual enterprise contracts.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
Starter and Pro can be month-to-month. Annual billing requires a 12-month commitment. Enterprise agreements are customized.
